Why would anyone ever dream of being a military wife? Why would a girl ever want to be married to someone she’ll hardly see? Why would she put herself through the pains of watching him deploy and leave her side? Why would a woman EVER want her man to go risk his life on a daily basis and support him wholeheartedly while he’s fighting wars? Why would a girl want to be with someone as crazy as a military man? Well, they’re kind of crazy girls themselves. Watching him leave is painful, but the feeling she gets when he comes home is indescribable. The pride in her eyes when she tells people he’s overseas is a look Picasso himself couldn’t paint. The protection and security she gains from him doing what he is so passionate about is a feeling that those in love can’t even feel. Being in love with a military man is one of the strongest bonds on this planet. You trust them with everything, believe in them more than you believe in yourself, and have a connection that’s stronger than the military itself. So, we’re not crazy, per say, we’re just strong, determined, and head over heels in love with our men in uniform ♥ ♥ ♥

I want to tell her she is selfish and can’t possibly love him like she says. I love my soldier to pieces. This life can be extremely difficult but I have and will continue to support him through it all.
